چکیده
Southeast Asian countries have seen substantial economic growth over the years, but they not been able to maintain environmental quality at same time. Non-renewable sources constitute a significant proportion of energy consumption in ASEAN which can repercussions for long-term sustainable development. While impacts and on studied before, literature is quiet about nexus between globalization, renewable non-renewable energy, growth, CO2 emissions context. To fill this gap literature, present study estimates effect emission under umbrella EKC hypothesis 1995 2020 period. Due presence cross-sectional dependence heterogeneity slope parameters, second-generation techniques co-integration, unit root, long short-run estimations are used. According findings CS-ARDL estimation, globalization contribute deterioration, whereas has positive contribution improvement countries. Moreover, prove validation selected economies. The concludes that region developing expense while also pursuing enormous initiatives. policy implications directions development discussed.

Renewable Energy Consumption, Economic Growth and Co2 Emissions: Evidence from Selected Mena Countries
This paper uses panel cointegration techniques to examine the causal relationship between renewable energy consumption, economic growth and CO2 emissions for a group of 12 MENA countries covering the annual period 1975-2008. The Granger-causality results indicate that there is no causal relationship between these variables in short run except a unidirectional causality running from renewable en...

Energy as one of the factors of production along with labor and capital has an important role in development and social welfare. Due to the pollution of non-renewable resources and its negative impact on welfare, the use of renewable resources can improve social welfare by eliminating pollutants. In this study, the effect of renewable and non-renewable energy consumption on social welfare of de...

There exist some possible synergies between energy efficiency measures and renewable energy adoption in the sense that the former reduces the energy demand so that the latter can begin to cut future GHG emissions with a high potential in residential sector. In this residential sector, many works have been done either on demand for clean energy or on investment in energy efficiency, but to our k...
